BrightHope

Frequently Asked Questions

Four programmes, one mission — practical support for families across the UK.

How is my donation used?

92p of every £1 goes directly to frontline programmes — food parcels, mentoring, and outreach. The rest covers safeguarding and running costs. Our annual report is published each April.

Are donations tax deductible in the UK?

Yes. We are a registered charity (No. 1184422) and can claim Gift Aid on eligible donations from UK taxpayers — adding 25p to every £1 at no extra cost to you.

How do I volunteer?

Head to our Contact page or email hello@brighthope.org.uk. We run inductions every other Saturday in Manchester.

Can my company partner with BrightHope?

Absolutely. We work with UK businesses on payroll giving, skilled volunteering days, and cause-led campaigns. Drop us a line to discuss.

Where do you operate?

Our hub is in central Manchester, with outreach across Greater Manchester, Salford, and Bolton. Plans are underway for a Liverpool satellite in 2026.
